Sun Insurance Invests $16 million on Nadi Airport Area Complex
Sun Insurance is investing approximately $16 million in its new five-story complex near Nadi Airport, It has already attracted a lot of attention. Managing Director, Inia Naiyaga said they have received a lot of expressions of interest from various business and individuals con- cerning rental of office space.
The building is currently under construction and is situated at the corner of Queens Highway and Legalega Road.
With the noticeably increasing business activities happening in Nadi and the location of the building, it was no wonder that the company had been inundated with queries for rent.
With the recent multi-million dollar upgrade to Nadi Airport, the new road from the airport to Denarau, a major land development opposite Fiji Airways and increased population, real estate near the airport is being taken up quickly.
“We decided to build at that spot because of the increased activity in the Nadi – Lautoka areas,” Mr Naiyaga said.
“I think we have the right place as the number of expressions of interest indicates. “The building is an open office space, We are not going to build partitioned offices,” Mr Naiyaga said.
“The building would be rented out by floors and which ever company comes in they can decide how they want to partition off the space to make their offices.”
“It will be up to them how they built their offices.
“We have not yet finalised who our tenants would be, as we are still accepting expressions of interest.”
Mr Naiyaga said the Nadi-Lautoka area was growing quickly.
“We would be spending around $16 million when completed.”
Mr Naiyaga said they were looking at the end of June this year when the building would be completed and ready for rental. Source: Sun Insurance
