STUDENTS COULD NOT GO TO SCHOOL AND EVERYONE ELSE CHOSE TO STAY HOME IN CASE THE RIVER GETS FLOODED AGAIN and we are trapped on the other side. My house is built on poles so water did not get inside, but a lot of the houses on the lower end were flooded.

Rewa Zone

Waidradra Crossing on Vatulili Road – crossing flooded;

Wainavida Crossing on Lutu Vuisiga Road – crossing washed out;

Waima Crossing on Nakorosule Road – crossing flooded;

Waiwatu Crossing on Navulokani Road – crossing flooded;

Waioli Crossing on Nukuloa Road – crossing flooded;

Nasi Crossing on Wailase Road – crossing flooded and

Matainasau Crossing on Wailoa Road – crossing flooded.

Korovou Zone

Colata Crossing on Colata Farm Road – crossing flooded;

Bureiwai Crossing on Namarai Road – road wash out and

Saiyaro Crossing on Lofua Farm Road – approach wash out.

Navua Zone

■ Old Queens Road (Wainadoi) – flooded (from Nabukavesi Village end);

Nabukavesi Road – flooded (from Nabukavesi Village end); and

Wainisusu 2 Bridge on Waiyanitu Road – flooded crossing.

The following roads are closed in Sigatoka:

■ Matewale Crossing on Valley Road is closed because of flooding;

Rabaraba Crossing on Nasivikoso Road is closed because of flooding;

Multiple sections on Namoli Road is only open to 4WD because of scouring; and

Red hill near Draubuta Road junction on Nakoro Road is open to 4WD because of scouring.
