1/2019 Inosi Kuridrani to ask the Prime Minister and Minister for iTaukei Affairs and Sugar Industry – Sugar production has been on a declining trend from 310,140 tons in 2006 to 139,502 tons in 2016 despite the heavy input of resources financially and technically. Can the Prime Minister explain the reason for this decline. 2/2019 Rohit Sharma to ask the Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation – Can the Minister inform Parliament on the programme of work undertaken by the Ministry on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2018. 3/2019 Mosese Bulitavu to ask the Minister for Defence, National Security and Foreign Affairs – Can the Minister inform the House on how he intends to eradicate the brutal treatment of suspects in custody. 4/2019 Sanjay Kirpal to ask the Minister for Health and Medical Services – Can the Minister elaborate on the recent typhoid outbreak. 5/2019 Viliame Gavoka to ask the Attorney-General and Minister for Economy, Civil Service and Communications – With a number of airlines serving Fiji and neutrality being critical – Can the Minister explain the reason why the CEO of Fiji Airways sits in the position of Chair for Tourism Fiji. 6/2019 Dr Salik Govind to ask the Minister for Employment, Productivity, Industrial Relations, Youth and Sports – Can the Minister explain to Parliament as to what initiatives has the Ministry of Youth and Sports done to address the issue of drug abuse amongst the youths in the sports community. 7/2019 Biman Prasad to ask the Minister for Industry, Trade, Tourism, Local Government, Housing and Community Development – Can the Minister inform Parliament on the progress achieved on the Memorandum of Understanding and Joint Feasibility Studies conducted by the Governments of Fiji and the Peoples’ Republic of China on the proposed Free Trade Agreement as contained on page 64 of the Supplement to the 2018-2019 Budget Address. 8/2019 Vijendra Prakash to ask the Minister for Health and Medical Services – Can the Minister update Parliament on the Meningococcal vaccination that was carried out Fijiwide last year.
