Volivoli Beach Resort a finAlIst At ANZ FETA

Volivoli Beach Resort in Rakiraki has virtually been through the storm.

But now there is excitement brewing as the resort on the Sunshine Coast of Viti Levu is one of the finalist in the ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards.

The awards will be held at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa this Saturday. Resort managing director Nick Darling said the directors were extremely proud of the entire team and their commitment to what was offered at the resort.

And also its contributi­on to the wider sector of tourism into Fiji in general.

“Over the last three-years since TC Winston, Volivoli Beach Resort has strived to raise their profile and offer from a solid three-star resort to a genuine and healthy four-star property,” Mr Darling said. “Currently we have 33-rooms in five-different categories, each room is fully air-conditione­d, have their own balconies with full ocean views.

“Our four-newest villas, the ones we are finalists in for Deluxe Accommodat­ion at the upcoming ANZ FETA awards, are luxury ocean front and have two-bedrooms, twobathroo­ms, a large lounge and their own exclusive private swimming pools.

Volivoli Beach Resort is situated on a headland at the most northern tip of Viti Levu where guests are fortunate to see both the sunrise and sunset daily. The property is easily accessible from Nadi Internatio­nal Airport by a leisurely scenic coastal drive of just over two-hours by car as well as a sea-plan and helicopter transfers in under 30-minutes.
