Jihadi Bride Willing To Go To Jail To Be Allowed Back To The UK With Newborn Son

-

Jihadi bride Shamima Begum has revealed that she is ready to face prison if she’s allowed to return to the UK with her newborn son Jerah. Begum ran away to marry an ISIS fighter four years ago - but now wants to return to the UK after the terror group’s so-called ‘caliphate’ crumbled into dust. The mother also shrugged off the murders of British terror victims in an interview as she claimed they were ‘retaliation’ for the war being fought against ISIS.

On Monday Begum told the BBC’s Quentin Sommerville that she’s prepared to be jailed, was a ‘poster girl’ for the group and still has ‘sympathy’ for IS.

He tweeted: ‘IS supporter Shamima Begum admits to BBC News she was a poster girl for IS recruitment, apologises to Britain for joining IS and says she is ready to face prison if she’s allowed to return.’

Further tweets said that Begum ‘still had sympathy’ for IS and that ‘despite being only 15-years-old when she left Britain, she knew what she was doing and was capable of making her own decisions.’

The mother also said she wanted her little boy ‘to be British,’ however, she admitted that she would have let her first born son, who died while she was in the caliphate to become an IS fighter. Begum added in her BBC interview: “I actually do support some British values and I am willing to go back to the UK and settle back again and rehabilitate and that stuff.”

When confronted over the ISIS-inspired attacks which have killed scores in the UK the 19-year-old stuttered: “I was shocked but... I just couldn’t... I didn’t know about the kids actually but.. I don’t know.”

When challenged by the BBC’s Quentin Sommerville, she equated the Manchester Arena suicide bombing and other atrocities in Britain with the war being fought between the Assad regime and ISIS militants.
