Fiji well placed for more real estate investment: Khan
‘Collaboration and technology is key in sustaining a successful realestate operation in a competitive world’
Fiji is now in a position for more real estate investments, considering the fact that buyers have priced out neighbours Australia and New Zealand. Managing Broker for Bayshore Real-Estate Fiji Ltd, Arif Khan added with that came a huge opportunity to capitalise on the Government’s tax incentive for retirement villas as Fiji’s weather would suit many people.
Mr Khan made these comments last night during the Bayshore Real-Estate Awards night at the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel in Lautoka.
Each year the company took time out to recognise the hard work of its agents and administrators.
Affliation
Mr Khan also announced Bayshore Real-Estate’s affiliation with One Agency Australasia, a branding company with close to 200 offices and over 600 real-estate agents in Australia and New Zealand. “This is our proactive stance in recognition of the cooling global economy whereby we feel that collaboration and technology is key in sustaining a successful realestate operation in a competitive world,” Mr Khan said.
“In fact our theme for this year’s award night is Connecting Realestate with Technology and Collaboration
“With most of the buyers priced out in Australia and New Zealand, we feel that Fiji is an ideal opportunity for real-estate investment. “With the Fiji First governments tax incentive for retirement villas, it is ideal option for retirees.” “We will be position our company to target that market as well.” Last night’s chief guest was John Stewart, head of Australasia for One Agency.
Mr Ari said Mr Stewart’s presence was a testament to One Agency’s commitment towards the new partnership in promoting Fijian real-estate.
“We have already discussed strategies to market within our family of 600 agents internationally.”
