Redox Owner Rohini Hamid Scoops Business Woman of the Year Award
Winnning the Business Woman of the Year Award was one of the most humbling experiences for Rohini Hamid.
The owner of Redox Limited, one of the largest promotional product company in the Pacific, scooped the award during the Women in Business (WIB) awards night at Suva’s Grand Pacific Hotel on Friday. Mrs Hamid said it was a privilege for her to have been recognised with the award.
“I wasn’t expecting this award, because there are so many high calibre business women out there, however I am very humbled to win this award.
“I am representing all the capable women out there.”
Mrs Hamid graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the South Pacific in 2000.
“This is just a start for me and we have got so many products and we going to make it happen.
“We will produce better products for the society.”
Her advice to young women, she said “I think that all women should come out of their comfort zone. “They should follow their dreams and find a mentor who can help them out.”
Mrs Hamid also acknowledged her family support.
