Together, everyone achieves more, says new chief Sen
More is achieved together, says the Housing Authority of Fiji new chief executive officer Robert Sen. During a press conference yesterday, Mr Sen said in achieving the goals of the authority, they needed to work together as a team. “Not a single department can run this alone.”
He was the Chief Financial Officer for Fiji Roads Authority. He hails from Nadi. Authority Chairman Nesbitt Hazelman said Mr Sen came with so much experience.
“I am proud that he is a local,” he said.
He also encouraged locals who have the skills to put their handsup when such leadership roles are advertised.
Permanent Secretary for Fisheries and Housing Authority’s board member Craig Strong said: “He’s got the right balance of skills and experience; to have him come and drive our mandate in delivering affordable housing it’s critical to have someone like Mr Sen.”
Mr Sen will start work on Monday, September 16.
He took up the post that was vacant for close to two years. Edited by Susana Tuilau
