Neeraj Chadha recognised as South Pacific General Manager of the Year at 2019 HM Awards
Marriott International Fiji has been recognised for its commitment to exceptional quality and service, taking home two awards at the 2019 HM Awards.
Neeraj Chadha, Multi-Property Vice President Fiji & Samoa was recognised as South Pacific General Manager of the Year in acknowledgment of his commitment to his teams and the success of the properties in his region.
While Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay was highly commended as best Fijian Property.
Mr Chadha says: “I sincerely congratulate all the leaders nominated as every one of them deserves recognition for their contribution and dedication to this industry. “Hospitality and Tourism leaders in Fiji are driven, passionate and determined to make a difference and give back to the wider community.

Awards and commendations
These awards and commendations come as Marriott International Fiji prepares to embark on a journey of transformation with flagship property Sheraton Fiji Resort due to undergo a multi-million dollar transformation later this year.
New era
This heralds in a new era in Fijian hospitality and preparation for the launch of Marriott for mangroves, rivers and reefs, an initiative dedicated to serving and protecting the pristine marine environment of which makes Fiji so sought after as a destination.

The industry’s night of nights also saw Craig Smith, President and Managing Director of Asia Pacific, take out the esteemed title of Asia-Pacific Hotelier of the Year in recognition of his remarkable leadership during :
■the relaunched Marriott Bonvoy travel programme and Sean Hunt,
■Area Vice President for Marriott International in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, was Highly Commended as Australasian Hotelier of the Year.
Marriott International continues to grow its footprint, targeting 1,000 hotels and resorts open in Asia Pacific by the end of 2020.
