Qiliho and His Men Attended Largest Gathering of Law Enforcement Officers
The Commissioner of Police Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho and a Fiji delegation were part of a high level conference and exhibition dubbed as the largest gathering of law enforcement officers in the world. They joined Police chiefs and law enforcement officers from the International Association of Chiefs of Police (ICAP) member countries across the globe and the entire United States of America at the 126th IACP conference. The conference was held in Chicago, Illinois at the McCormick Convention Centre from October 26 to 29.
USA President Donald Trump in his key note address delivered on October 28 expressed his appreciation for the critical role assumed by Police officers across the globe.
The conference facilitated close to 200 sessions addressing contemporary and emerging challenges confronting the law enforcement profession including networking opportunities and sharing of challenges and success stories. Fiji became a member of the IACP this year following a visit to Fiji by the IACP president Paul Cell in July 2019.

The Commissioner of Police was accompanied by Fiji Police Director of International Relations Laiasi Ravula and Staff Officer ASP Aisake Kafoa.
