London: Arsenal came from a goal down to beat West Ham 3-1 and end a winless run of nine matches and gain their first victory under interim boss Freddie Ljungberg. The Gunners, who were in their worst form since 1977, went behind when Angelo Ogbonna’s header deflected in off defender Ainsley MaitlandNiles.

Gabriel Martinelli equalised when he converted Sead Kolasinac’s pullback. Arsenal’s record signing Nicolas Pepe curled in a fine second, then set up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a third.

The Gunners had not won since a 3-2 success over Portuguese side Vitoria

de Guimaraes in the Europa League on 24 October and sacked Unai Emery last month. Former Arsenal midfielder Ljungberg, in temporary charge in his first managerial role, had seen his team draw 2-2 at Norwich and lose 2-1 at home against Brighton on Thursday.

The Gunners failed to have a shot on target in the opening hour before three goals in nine minutes turned the match around at London Stadium. This result also increases the pressure on West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini, with the Hammers 16th, only one point above the bottom three, and with only one win in 11 matches.

Arsenal jumped up from 11th to ninth, seven points behind fourthplaced Chelsea but 24 adrift of Premier League leaders Liverpool. go-between, encouraging others in return for money.

He and two other men will be sentenced in February.

Prosecutor Andrew Thomas QC said that as part of a National Crime Agency investigation, an undercover police officer infiltrated the network by posing as a member of a corrupt betting syndicate.

That led to the uncovering of an attempted fix in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) in 2016 and an actual fix in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in 2017, with opening batsmen agreeing to not score runs from the first two balls.

Davis scored 20 of his 29 field goal attempts and 10 from 10 from the free throw line to become the third Lakers player this decade after LeBron James and Kobe Bryant to score 50 points.

James added 32 points with 13 assists.

Lakers coach Frank Vogel said Davis’ performance was “one for the ages” adding it was an “old-school, smash mouth way of getting 50, no threes.”

The Lakers boast the best record in the NBA with a 21-3 win-loss record this season.

Davis and James, who scored 39 and 31 points respectively in the 136-113 win over the Portland Trailblazers on Saturday, are the first pair of Lakers team-mates to score 70 points or more in back-to-back games since Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal in 2003.

“It’s been fun,” said Davis, who joined the Lakers in the summer. “When you have two players who are very selfless and want the best for the other player, it’s very easy. I’m looking for him, he’s looking for me, and we continue to learn each other and where we like to score the basketball.”
