Tourism Fiji promotes Bulanaire campaign with Fiji Airways
Tourism Fiji is partnering with all its industry partners to promote the Bulanaires campaign.
Obviously, Tourism Fiji chief executive Matthew Stoeckel highlighted some significant partners include Fiji Airports and Fiji Airways because they offer the first arrival experience.
“Through Fiji Airways, we’re looking at including Inflight entertainment and promotion through the boarding passes and the Inflight magazine,” Mr Stoeckel said.
“This is to really help visitors coming for the month of March, to understand what Bulanaires is about and encouraging them to share their happy moments and share their stories.”
Meanwhile, yesterday, Tourism Fiji had a Bulanaire information session with the Suncoast Tourism Association at Volivoli Resort in Rakiraki.
“We’re in the Suncoast working with a number of operators to present to them about the Bulanaires campaign, what the campaigns about how they can be involved, and what they need to do to participate in it.
“We’ve had great feedback from the participants who are super excited in nominating a Bulanaire within their business.
“I look forward to working with them in showcasing the wonderful job that our front liners and Bulanaires do in making Fiji the place where happiness is,” Mr Stoeckel said.
Suncoast Tourism Association
Suncoast Tourism Association president Nick Darling said: “Our plan is for each resort to nominate their own individual Bulainare, after the lessons we learned from Tourism Fiji today.
“We are excited to highlight some of the many Bulanaires we have here on the Suncoast.
“Just to take it back a step, it’s fantastic for Suncoast Tourism Association members to have the recognition from Tourism Fiji.
“As an association to have Tourism Fiji visit and update us is much appreciated, which also gives us an opportunity to highlight the region.
“We’re a small rural region in Fiji but equally as important as the bigger destinations.”
