ANOTHER COVID-19 PATIENT RECOVERS: PM

Only six people remain COVID-19 positive after another patient has recovered bringing the total to 12. Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama in his address on social media said it was now 14 days without any new cases of the coronavirus.

190 tests for coronavirus were taken this week.

He said the Ministry of Health was undertaking its door-to-door ‘LTDD’ campaign to fight off leptospirosis, typhoid, dengue and diarrhoea.
