So you know Suva is back to normal when:

A POLICE officer is busy giving parking tickets to cars causing no obstruction on a quiet Sunday morning downtown. Yet on a busy market day before vehicles are parking everywhere with not an officer in sight.

A SNOOTY STAFF member at the new coffee house near town says “Sorry, we’re closed” to a customer wanting to place a takeaway order. As other customers leave happily with theirs.
