22 arrests out of 28 for alleged curfew breaches

Twenty eight arrests were made on Saturday night, 22 of which are for alleged breaches of the nationwide curfew arrests making up twenty two (22) reports.

The Western Division recorded 10 reports and all were for breach of curfew.

The Southern Division recorded 12 reports, six for alleged breach of curfew and six for alleged sports-related gatherings.

The six alleged sporting activities breaching social gathering restrictio­ns involved four students between the ages of 11 and 16. They were found playing touch rugby with two adults aged 19 and 21 years in Vesida. The Northern Division recorded five cases, all for alleged breaches of curfew while East recorded one report.

The Central Division recorded no reports.
