- LAISA LUI Edited by Maraia Vula

Father of three, Imu Imran, is seeking Government assistance as they continue to be under quarantine for 14 more days. Mr Imran and his family were taken in for quarantine for 28 days at Labasa College, they have tested negative for COVID-19, but have been advised by the Ministry of Health to remain in isolation for another 14 days.

“While we were away for quarantine, basic food items were eaten by rats and now we do not have much. “My wife and I have both lost our jobs a month ago and I don’t know where I can get food for my family right now.

“We have received a kind donation from the Kindness Pandemic Fiji admin,Talei Silinibaravi.

“I believe there are many other kind Fijians out there who can help us for the time being as we cannot go out of our homes to look for a job and earn some money to buy food for our family of six.

“My three children who are all in primary school, wife and sister-inlaw, l are all hoping for a miracle soon,” he said.

Mr Imran said they need basic food items such as flour, rice and stuff to make curry.

He said they have not been given the clearance by the Ministry of Health, therefore they would wait at their home for any kind assistance.
