Yet another rape case in the country.

Is it the age?

The clothes the victims wore?

Or is it just someone’s desire to satisfy themselves?

The people have become so inhumane that they do not realise that the victim is a human being, someone’s brother/ sister, someone’s daughter/ son, someone’s husband/ wife. I say this because it is not only the women who are victims of such inhumane acts, men are also being abused. But women and children are regarded as vulnerable.

You do not realise that you also have families, sister(s), brother(s), and people whom you love.

Would you like your loved ones to experience this brutal situation? I do not think so.

I still remember the sad 2008 case from India, the rape and murder of an eight-yearold, Asifa Bano. This case was viral throughout the international media in 2008.

But what happened after?

The news just disappeared and new news hit the papers.

Raping a person takes minutes but then the victim has to deal with the traumatising effects throughout his/her life after the incident.

It is a crime and people committing such disgusting acts should be punished so harshly that the idea of rape never even crosses their thoughts.

Raise your voice to awaken the world and save the victims to be.

It is not the gender, age, clothes or someone’s behaviour that contribute to such acts, but it is a person’s ability to think properly and control.

Before ruining any innocent person’s life just for your sexual desires, think a million times as one day you will also have a son/ daughter.
