Selena Gomez to host a new at-home cooking show
Los Angeles: Selena Gomez is cooking something up with HBO Max. The singer/actress, 27, is set to host and executive produce a new quarantine-themed cooking show for the streaming service, according to Deadline.
The yet-to-be titled project was ordered straight-to-series for a 10 episode run. It is planned for a summer release.
Selena will executive produce through her July Moon Productions, along with Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman of Industrial Media’s The Intellectual Property Corporation.
In each episode the starlet will be joined by a different master chef, who will offer recipes, tips and tricks for the kitchen. Each episode will also showcase a different food charity.
Selena explained why it was the perfect project for her in a statement, saying: “I’ve always been very vocal about my love of food.”
“I think I’ve been asked hundreds of times in interviews if I had another career, what would I do and I’ve answered that it would be fun to be a chef.”
