TAXI WOES

-

Chats with taxi drivers in our towns and cities are often interesting. In the capital, taxi drivers are complaining about how things are tough - and to make things worse, they are being hounded by council workers who warn them if they park at parking metre spots, they must pay or will cop a fine. One taxi driver lamented “Areh… brother, these fallahs still getting full pay and they come for us gang. We have to pay our base fee, our contract. We are lucky if we have a wage, but no we are struggling.”
