Police officer among 31 arrested for breaches

A Police officer was arrested on Thursday after he was found playing volleyball with three others in Veisari, Lami. In total 31 people were arrested, 16 for curfew breaches and 15 for sporting activities. 12 were arrested for playing touch rugby at Lagilagi Housing in Jittu Estate and at the Lady Narain roundabout in Tamavua. Commissioner of Police Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho thanked those who have been adhering to the advisories.
