FORTUNE FAVOURS THE PREPARED

is Latin for “fortune favours the prepared” and this was not the case at a press conference held recently with cabinet ministers and a dignitary from an international organisation.

Organisers were seemingly playing musical chairs deciding who would be sitting where on the stage.

In all this confusion, the ministry staff did not realise that the Assistant Minister was calmly standing at the back. Realising he had been forgotten on the stage, he opted to carry his own chair to be seated where he should have been.
