QORO RESIGNS AS PLEASS GLOBAL DIRECTOR

Latileta Qoro has resigned from her role as an independen­t director of Pleass Global Limited.

The company in a statement released by the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPX) yesterday, stated Pleass Global had accepted her resignatio­n.

The resignatio­n is effective June 4, 2020 (the date of the upcoming Annual General Meeting).

“Lati has contribute­d significan­tly to the company, through the Board, during her time as an independen­t director.

“She brought her skills and expertise in finance, capital market regulation­s, human resource management and general commercial acumen to bear for our benefit.

“Lati also served on the Audit Committee as Deputy Chair and provided substantia­l advice and recommenda­tions to the Board,” the company statement said. “The Pleass Global Board of Directors sincerely thank Lati for her outstandin­g contributi­on and will miss her involvemen­t, but we acknowledg­e her other current profession­al responsibi­lities and the difficult decision she has made.
