Latileta Qoro has re­signed from her role as an in­de­pen­dent direc­tor of Pleass Global Limited.

The com­pany in a state­ment re­leased by the South Pa­cific Stock Ex­change (SPX) yes­ter­day, stated Pleass Global had ac­cepted her res­ig­na­tion.

The res­ig­na­tion is ef­fec­tive June 4, 2020 (the date of the up­com­ing An­nual Gen­eral Meet­ing).

“Lati has con­trib­uted sig­nif­i­cantly to the com­pany, through the Board, dur­ing her time as an in­de­pen­dent direc­tor.

“She brought her skills and ex­per­tise in fi­nance, cap­i­tal mar­ket reg­u­la­tions, hu­man re­source man­age­ment and gen­eral com­mer­cial ac­u­men to bear for our ben­e­fit.

“Lati also served on the Au­dit Com­mit­tee as Deputy Chair and pro­vided sub­stan­tial ad­vice and rec­om­men­da­tions to the Board,” the com­pany state­ment said. “The Pleass Global Board of Di­rec­tors sin­cerely thank Lati for her out­stand­ing con­tri­bu­tion and will miss her in­volve­ment, but we ac­knowl­edge her other cur­rent pro­fes­sional re­spon­si­bil­i­ties and the dif­fi­cult de­ci­sion she has made.
