US hands $157K of aid to RFMF

The US Ambassador to Fiji Joseph James Cella yesterday handed over equipment and supplies to the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Commander Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto.

The donation worth $157,000 was done at the Strategic Headquarters in Suva. It would be distributed to assist RFMF personnel deployed in various parts of the country.

It is aimed at assisting government agencies in the response to COVID-19 and the devastation of Tropical Cyclone

Harold. Ambassador Cella said he was honoured to present the donated items which would further enhance the RFMF’s resilience and also hoped to continue the strong partnership in the future.
