MAN WITH 56 COUNTS OF THEFT BAILED

A 26-year-old driver of Waiyavi, Lautoka facing 56 counts of theft was granted bail by the Lautoka Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Pailato Naivowai appeared before Magistrate Nayani Kasturiratne.

Magistrate Kasturiratne granted bail for Navoiwai on the condition that a stop departure be issued, he pay a bail bond of $1000 with standard conditions, provide one surety and report to the Lautoka Police Station every Friday between the times of 7am and 7pm. The case was then adjourned to August 17 for mention.
