In less than a year, the company established its fourth outlet, setting a new bench mark in the fast food industry with home grown “secret” recipes.

The Nakasi outlet was a $60,000 investment that now employs five people. Company operations manager, Vishay Kant said, redefining fried food experience with the infusion of traditional and innovative ingredients, the company plans to expand its operation in other parts of Fiji.

“We never imagined expanding our business this soon.

“Our customers’ support and continuous request to establish branches closer to their homes led us to this stage.

“Ever since our launch we have rapidly become popular and we are very grateful to our loyal customers for continuously returning to enjoy our products and promoting us within their network.”

Successful local franchise

The company is one of the first locally-owned successful franchises, becoming a household brand name for fast food lovers wanting to try something different from everyday meals. “GOFRY concept was designed at home when our family decided to embark on a new journey into business as a sustainable income source” Mr Kant said.

Following the opening of the new branch, the company added pizza as one of the new products to complement fried and fastfoods including chicken, fried fish, burgers and subways. GoFry has three outlets in the Central Division - including Valelevu, Nausori and, one in Nadi.
