Post Fiji Limited is considering installing CCTV cameras in all their Post Office branches after an attempted break-in at their Nasinu Post Office in Valelevu on Wednesday night. Head of retail and marketing Isaac Mow said the incident happened during curfew hours, between 10pm to 11pm and Police were alerted after the security system was triggered.

“It was an attempted break-in and there was no loss at all. Nothing was stolen,” Mr Mow said.

“Very minor damages were done. They cut through the fence and broke through one of the doors using a pinch bar. They didn’t enter because the alarm was triggered.”

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said a report had been lodged at the Valelevu Police Station by the Post mistress.
