Police arrest drug suspect, 28

A28-year-old man of Taveuni was arrested yesterday after a search conducted at his partner’s home in Valelevu.

The joint Police raid by officers from Valelevu and Nasinu resulted in the discovery of dried leaves wrapped in a cloth and dried branches, believed to be marijuana.

The seized substances have been sent for analysis while the suspect remains in custody.
