GS convenes a separate MB meeting at Khatriya Hall, claiming she has the authority to do so, without WC approval. It is attended by party leader and 19 members of the MB. This group allegedly fails to reach the required legal quorum so during the meeting they allegedly co-opt in members,without the endorsement of the constituencies who appoint them to make quorum. It’s important to note that the constitution does not give the GS the right to convene a MB meeting of her own volition; but can only act on the instructions of the WC, regardless of who chairs the WC.

VS convenes MB meeting at Holiday Inn, attended by 23 existing MB members, which is over 51 per cent and thus forms legal quorum. Refer to media release for outcomes of meeting.
