Juveniles among those arrested
Two girls, under the age of 17, were among those arrested on Monday night after they were found at the Nabua Muslim League shortcut. Police Commissioner BrigadierGeneral Sitiveni Qiliho said 20 people were arrested from Monday night through to yesterday morning for COVID-19 related breaches. Eight were juveniles from the Southern Division.
The Southern Division recorded 14 arrests, which include six juveniles who were playing soccer at the Niubalavu Road roundabout in Tacirua.
The Eastern Division recorded five reports of failure to comply with orders while the Western Division recorded one case.
