What do you think of $30m to help jobless?

The Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum announced fortnightly assistance for those who were made unemployed because of the COVID-19 crisis. $30 million has been set aside for that. What do you think of this and how will this assist those in need?

The assistance by the Government is timely because by now the first phase of assistance would have dried up. There are many other people who have lost their jobs just recently and this assistance could be used as starting capital to at least generate some home-based businesses that could help with their day-to-day living.
