Coronaviru­s-hit Kremlin spokesman recovers, discharged

Moscow: Kremlin spokespers­on Dmitry Peskov on Monday was discharged from the hospital where he was treated for the COVID-19 infection, local media reported.

Interfax news agency reported that Peskov would have to stay at home in isolation for another two weeks. On May 12, Mr Peskov was hospitalis­ed for coronaviru­s infection and was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia, according to Interfax. Among Russian officials, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova, Science and Higher Education Minister Valery Falkov and Constructi­on Minister Vladimir Yakushev have recovered.
