Coronavirus-hit Kremlin spokesman recovers, discharged
Moscow: Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov on Monday was discharged from the hospital where he was treated for the COVID-19 infection, local media reported.
Interfax news agency reported that Peskov would have to stay at home in isolation for another two weeks. On May 12, Mr Peskov was hospitalised for coronavirus infection and was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia, according to Interfax. Among Russian officials, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova, Science and Higher Education Minister Valery Falkov and Construction Minister Vladimir Yakushev have recovered.
