First Locally-made 3D Face Shields will Boost Health Workers’ Fight

ANadi-based technology company has stepped up its COVID-19 response efforts by producing 3D face shields for the Ministry of Health and Medical
Services.
Thanks to a partnership with the Australian government-funded Market Development Facility (MDF), Skyward Industries handed over the first set of locally made 3D face shields to the Ministry of Health at the Civic Centre yesterday.
The 100 face shields of the 1000 units it targets to make is hoped to support the ministry’s growing need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Fijian health workers.
