FIJI SUN GETS WIDER
coverage through Post Fiji agreement
Post Fiji and Fiji Sun yesterday signed a partnership agreement that would allow wider circulation of the daily newspaper, and broaden the scope of services provided by post offices.
Post Fiji has wide distribution Fiji-wide, with its 54 postal offices, chief executive office Anirudha Bansod said.
“That’s where we can take the
Fiji Sun to all places.”
Mr Bansod said the newspaper had its own charms, despite digital media.
“Newspapers gives all information in all dimensions,” he said. He said the content quality of
Fiji Sun were of high standard. “In terms of business and sport, they really cover the wide network,” he added.
“With this partnership between Post Fiji and Fiji Sun, we can deliver more papers and increase their revenue in terms of more circulation reaching the domestic market.”
The agreement further boosts Mr Bansod’s efforts to widen and diversify services provided by the Post Fiji network.
Fiji Sun finance manager Jyotishna Chand said: “This MOU means more exposure to Fiji Sun especially with Post Fiji’s reach throughout the country.
“Now more Fijians would be able to purchase a daily copy of Fiji Sun from Post Fiji and become well informed of what’s happening around them.”
EMS International
Mr Bansod said Post Fiji’s EMS International was another courier avenue within Post Fiji that would be used to further market
Fiji Sun.
He said the strategic alliance was a win-win situation.
Post Fiji will identify its high traffic shops including broadening the Fiji Sun readership to include more maritime islands.
