LANDLORD USES LAWYER FRIEND TO EVICT TENANT

A court order is needed to evict a tenant. This is the message from Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC).

Apparently, a landlord has resorted to using his lawyer friend to make threatening calls to evict a tenant.

The tenant has been true to his part of the deal with rent on time, however the landlord wants to increase his rent and to do so he needs a new tenant.

The lawyer has declared to the poor tenant that he is the law. Do not be fooled.

If you are an honest tenant know your rights.
