Learn to grieve

Suspended SODELPA MP Salote Radrodro is saying that the suspension of the party came at a time when they were needed in Parliament to scrutinise the 2020-2021 National Budget.

She goes on to say “In this time, whereby we have the economic social impact of COVID-19, it is important that the full House sits and has full debate on the budget.

I’m very confused! If they were so concerned, why didn’t they think about it before they held two separate party meetings? Instead, they could have set down as adults and simply ironed out all the disagreements. They have lawyers, a former prime minister and seasoned politicians in their ranks. Why grieve now when the damage is done?

It’s hard to learn from your own mistakes, but it will be tragic if you don’t learn at all.
