UPHILL RUN FOR TAXI DRIVER

A taxi driver managed to escape from the hands of four Labasa police officers yesterday morning.

His vehicle was searched after a tip-off.

It was alleged the taxi driver was hiding drugs in his underwear.

The taxi driver ran for dear life up a hill near Labasa town.

We will soon know how the search was conducted when the taxi driver appears in court.
