State prosecution requests for more time for Ba murder case
The state prosecution has asked for more time to file the pretrial checklist in a murder case involving two Bangladeshi nationals who allegedly killed their flat mate earlier this year in Rarawai, Ba.
The case was called before judge Justice Chamath Morais at the High Court in Lautoka on Tuesday.
Mohammed Masum is alleged to have murdered two men of the same nationality that he shared a flat with. Ms Uce told the court the state would be seeking seven days to file the pretrial checklist.
Justice Morais adjourned the case to June 19 for mention.
