Boy, 10, shares horror of father’s alleged arson, failed suicide attempt
Customers who shop at shopping malls in Suva are getting fed up with boys or men who sell coconuts, roti parcels and puddings outside.
Even when shoppers kindly refuse, the sellers persists, some even pretend to make sad faces. Shoppers are also unhappy about the fact that children are used for this. While helping the family is not considered child labour, there should be no forcing others to buy. Perhaps something the mall operators could look at with their security guards.
