Faith Grace questioned over fake news on QVS
Police have questioned Faith Grace for making false comments about Queen Victoria School on social media.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that Ms Grace was taken for questioning by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) yesterday.
Ms Grace claimed that QVS would be closed because the Government had no money to pay for operational costs for running the boarding school.
Ms Grace was an unsuccessful applicant for SODELPA (in suspension) in the 2018 General Elections.
Meanwhile, Minister of Education, Rosy Akbar had stressed that Queen Victoria School would not close.
“This is absolutely fake news,” she said.
