Seeto Chair of Housing Authority of Fiji Board

Congratulations are in order for Lorraine Seeto; recently appointed as the chairperson for the Housing Authority of Fiji board. The Housing Authority comes under the leadership of Premila Kumar, the Minister for Housing and Community Development.
Ms Seeto is now a Consultant in professional services including event management, governance, change management and communication. She replaces Nesbitt Hazelman as chairperson of the board of Housing Authority.
Mr Hazelman was appointed to the Authority’s board on May 4, 2019.
Ms Seeto was a former central banker and advisor to the Reserve Bank of Fiji Governor. She is currently a Fiji Public Trustee Corporation (Pte) Limited (FPTCL) director and Netball World Youth Cup 2021 board member.
Also new to the board is Senikavika Jiuta the General Manager Operations, Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission. Ms Jiuta replaces Investment Fiji chief executive officer Craig Strong.
Ms Jiuta is a lawyer by profession. She also specialises in competition and consumer protection law, business risk management, corporate governance, legal advisory and litigation. Also on the board are Anabel Ali, Mohit Raj and Roveen Permal.
Ms Ali is the group financial controller and company secretary of Fiji Fish Marketing Group company and its 11 related entities. In her professional work experience under the Fiji Fish Marketing Group she is the Group financial controller responsible for the financial management and control of the company.
A senior officer of the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS), Mr Raj has more than 17 years of Taxation and Customs knowledge. He is currently the Chief Assessor Gold Card Services and Authorised Economic Operator responsible for the management of Gold Card Service Centre, and Authorised Economic Operators of the Service. Mr Raj is a Council Member and Vice President of the Fiji Institute of Accountants.
Mr Permal is a qualified structural engineer and project manager with 20 years of extensive experience within Fiji and the Pacific. He also owns a construction firm with sound knowledge in building and innovative technology.
