Every now and then Australia, New Zealand, Japan or China give money to Fiji. I would like to know how these countries can afford to do this favour during this pandemic.

While in the wake of ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement, let’s not, for a second, pretend the deep ingrained racism we foster within our society. How many times has an aunty ever clutched her purse tighter at the sight of an individual? Don’t put a hashtag, rip the band aid from your prejudice to see clearly.

Each new day brings new opportunities. We meet people with spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial needs; and if we are able, we should do what we can to meet them. Nothing is gained by delaying doing something good, and many times the opportunity will be lost unless we act on it. Even if it requires sacrifice on our part. We must seize them before it is too late.
