FijiFirst to decide Sharma’s fate in the party after court proceeding­s are decided

The FijiFirst Party is awaiting the final outcome of the alleged assault court case against Member of Parliament, Rohit Sharma, before deciding his future in the party.

Party Leader and Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimaram­a confirmed this yesterday and said they would let the court proceeding­s take their course.

It is understood that the MP has written a letter to the party. However, the contents of the letter have not been disclosed to the media. The 41-year-old MP was charged with one count of assault causing actual bodily harm early this month after he allegedly assaulted
