Inter Continental launches new local rates

InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa released a new range of specials designed for locals and expatriates.

Specials for local residents’ start from $299 tax inclusive a night, for two adults and two children under the age of 12.

The offer includes breakfast and a 50 per cent discount on selected beverages.

Highlights

Other highlights of the specials are early check in, late check out, Wi-Fi, and reduced upgrade rates for beachfront rooms and suites.

The resort, located at Natadola Bay, opened in 2009.

Area general manager South Pacific, Lachlan Walker, said the resort enjoyed a steady stream of local business in leisure and group segment.

InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa remained open at the time

of the global coronavirus pandemic.

Mr Walker said: “With international borders shut down, this is an ideal time to re-think strategies and our positioning in the market and put together a good rate to entice more local residents to experience international brand hotels and resorts such as ours.

“Whilst we are operating with limited room inventory and reduced services, our team is rolling out control measures to ensure that guest experience is in line with social distancing and more attention to the cleanliness and hygiene of guest rooms and facilities on property,” Mr Walker said.

InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa’s previous rates ranged between $399 for local specials, and $799.
