Local guests now pay $175 a night for two adults and two children under 16, for the Premium Bures. The bures were previously available for $450 a night. The resort’s “Outrigger Fiji Bure Getaway” campaign is exclusive to Fijian residents during July, 2020, general manager Darren Shaw said. The launch will coincide with the resort’s support for Tourism Fiji’s Love Our Locals campaign, a programme designed to promote local tourism via special rates, he said. “We are looking forward to welcoming back our loyal locals who have continued to support us over the years. “Our team would like to thank our local guests by offering this great value bure rate and other inclusions. “We are utilising the time, whilst the borders remain closed, to reconnect with our local market and join with Tourism Fiji to help stimulate local traffic.” During the forced closure, prompted A VIP welcome with cold drinks and towels. The resort will also open the Takia-on-the-go Café on July 1, 2020. The café, a popular stop over for coffee and snacks, 8am and 4pm.
