Wellesley Resort Fiji, which opens today (FRI), has joined in the ‘Love our Locals’ initiative, slashing more than 50 percent off their accommodation rates. The resort, renowned for only adults have now, for the first time, opened up for children also.
Resort manager Gail Adams said 10 guests, who will occupy five of the 15 motel type rooms were the first guests to be welcomed back since the resort closed in March following the closing of the borders.
“We are open for business at heavily discounted rates of more than 50 percent,” Ms Adams said.
The resort, with its beautiful white sandy beach is located about a two-hour drive from Suva at Namqumaqua, in Serua and where Man Friday is.
“We have always been a resort for adults and children free but we have opened and allowed children to be brought in too,” Ms Adams said.
“Our motel rooms have a stunning view of the valley while the restaurant overlooks the pool and the sea which can be reached by a walkway.
“Our accommodation all have king size beds but with the children that could be separated and we have facilities available to also set up single beds.
