Facebook commits more support to black communities
San Francisco: Facebook is committing an additional US$200 million to support black-owned businesses and organisations, its Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sheryl Sandberg announced.
The move, as part of a broader US$1.1 billion investment in black and diverse suppliers and communities, includes US$25 million in support of black content creators and US$75 million in grants of cash and ad credits, to support blackowned businesses and non-profit organisation that serve the black community.
