Beijing sees better air quality in first five months
Beijing: The average density of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) in Beijing from January to May stood at 45 micrograms per cubic metre, down 6.2 per cent year on year, local authorities said.
There were 120 days with good air quality during this period, an increase of 18 days compared with the same period of last year, according to the Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau.
