Netball workshop for teachers

The NetGo Fiji netball workshop was held at Nasekula District School in Labasa yesterday.

Netball coaches from various schools were part of the two-day event.

Fiji Netball Pacific Sporting Partnership coordinator Unaisi Rokoura said the third round of coaching survey was for the teachers who had attended the foundation course last year.

Rokoura said the survey would provide the opportunity for coaches to be part of foundation Level Two programme.

“This is like a self-assessment for the coaches,”she said.

The workshop is also part of Fiji Netball’s plan to involve teachers.

“After the completion of coaching survey we plan to launch Level Two foundation course next month.”

Rokoura said 807 teachers were certified for foundation course all over Fiji.

A total of 15 coaches were part of the programme yesterday.
