Stay safe

There are still a number of countries where the human to human transferred coronavirus is still spreading rapidly and killing hundreds if not thousands of people on a daily basis while we thank our lucky stars to have come out of it safe and sound.

The fact that we were able to treat all the 18 infected patients successfully is in itself a very big achievement for the medical fraternity in the country.

The Government of the day takes the due credit for initiating and taking the right steps to isolate and treat the patients and implement the necessary safety guidelines to keep the general populace protected from the deadly virus throughout.

We also thank the various media outlets operating in the country for their timely coverage and dissemination of information on the pandemic.

As scientists and medical experts are trying to find the right vaccine for the disease, the virus doesn’t seem stopping to infect and claim the lives of people at this juncture. Already more than 474k people have lost their lives due to the coronavirus while the number of confirmed cases stood at 9.1 million people as per CNN report released on 23.6.20.

China, where the virus is suspected to have started is seeing the return of the virus which is something all should be worried about.

We pray and hope that the world is able to defeat the virus soon. To experience the outbreak of this magnitude, I don’t think it is easy for all to handle.

Please stay safe and help those in need if you can.
