Minister for Agriculture, Rural and Maritime Development, Waterways and Environment Mahendra Reddy on Thursday commissioned the foot crossing bridge at Nabukadra Village, Ra.
He said the Fijian Government remained committed towards the protection and development of rural and maritime communities for improved quality of life.
Close to one hundred villagers of Nabukadra in Ra will benefit from the newly constructed foot-crossing bridge. 45-yearold villager Raivolita Tabusoro acknowledged Government’s commitment to providing the foot crossing bridge which will provide better safer access for the villagers to their farms.
